The population of Glenmount

Glenmount is a 75 acre rectangular residential area, presently in the borough of Mount Royal, in the city of Montreal, but that used to belong to the former city of Montreal (Côte-des-Neiges).  Its northern neighbour is the former town of Mount Royal.  At the last local census, there were 350 single family houses, 34 duplex and 4 appartment buildings in Glenmount.  About four years ago, around 50 town houses from Square Mont-Royal have joined Glenmount.  The actual population of Glenmount is about 1300, but the number needs to be revised.

Glenmount is bordered on its south side by Jean-Talon boulevard and the CP railway and on its north, east and west sides by the former town of Mount Royal.
